Biltmore Hats started out as the Fried Hat Company in 1917 and was originally locate in Niagara. In 1919, the company was sold to new owners who moved the company to Guelph. The new owners changed its name to Biltmore Hats after the Biltmore Hotel in New York, hoping the name suggested elegance.
Biltmore Hats had a reputation for making high quality hats. They operated in Guelph until 2011.
This miniature hatbox sports a Christmas theme. Inside it holds a miniature brown felt hat complete with band that is marked Biltmore. The hatbox measures 5.5” x 5”.
